Market study reveals that people are actually interested in spending a lot of money for the optional purchases, just like they do for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
The latest analysis done by SuperData shows that Fornite earned whopping revenue of $223 million in the various platforms in March. This 73 percent more than the last month. The mobile release of the game in March played an important role in helping the game secure the number one position for most revenue earning games on iOS.
A part of the success earned is also due to the rising popularity of a brand new genre called battle royale and Fortnite has perfectly tapped into this opportunity. This game has successfully surpassed all the biggest achievements of the past in battle royale.
Due to its cartoonish art style, the Fortnite Battle Royale is looked upon as more accessible than the PUBG. It has shorter game times and fun skin, which make it more popular.
